Financial Aid

Financial aid (on the basis of either financial aid or academic merit) is available on a limited basis as funds are available. Students are welcome to apply for aid by submitting either of the following forms.

Financial aid is granted on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Administration.

Bursaries

Bursaries are available to Diaconal students who maintain an average of B or better. 

Students may apply for a bursary after the completion of four (4), eight (8), thirteen (13), and eighteen (18) courses as follows:

i.      After four (4) courses: $250.00;

ii.     After four (4) additional courses (i.e. eight [8] courses completed in total): $500.00;

iii.   After five (5) additional courses (i.e. thirteen [13] courses completed in total): $500.00;

iv.   After five (5) additional courses (i.e. eighteen [18] courses completed in total): $500.00.

Application Deadlines

There are currently no registration deadlines. Normally, courses will begin shortly after applications and fees have been received and processed. Both parts of the Reader’s Program and the 20 courses of the Diaconal Program are offered by correspondence. Courses may be applied for at any time during the year, subject to availability of the teacher at the time.
